A plan is being made to connect Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh to Khurja Road. A feasibility report is being prepared for connectivity. After the report is ready, a land acquisition proposal for road connectivity will be prepared and sent to the district administration. With the connectivity of Khurja to the airport, the movement of passengers and goods will become easier. The construction of Noida International Airport is in the final stages. The work of installing and testing the equipment is going on at the airport. The trial is expected in June.
Passenger services will start at the airport in October. After the opening of the airport, work is being done rapidly on the first connectivity options. Now a feasibility report is being prepared to connect Khurja to the airport directly by road. This road is expected to be approximately thirty kilometers long.
This road will connect to National Highway 34 in Khurja. With this, Noida Airport will get connectivity with many districts. It will be easier for the products manufactured in the industrial city of Khurja to reach the international market directly. Authority CEO Dr. Arunveer Singh said that a feasibility report is being prepared for airport connectivity from Khurja. After this, the land acquisition process will start.
