A recent review meeting was held in Lucknow for the upcoming International Jewar Airport which is ready to become Asia's largest and the world's fourth-largest airport.
With development progress outperforming 75%, the enthusiastically anticipated International Airport at Jewar is ready to begin activities soon, in all likelihood, during the impending Lok Sabha elections. Strikingly, both the runways and the essential Air Traffic Control (ATC) framework have been finished, demonstrating areas of strength for the airport to be functional within the following few months.
Speaking about the same, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh shared details about the construction work at the airport. "The pivotal Air Traffic Control (ATC) infrastructure is also in place. From July onwards, the airport will witness the full functioning of two state-of-the-art radars signaling a significant enhancement of the airport's operational capability. Initially, this advancement is expected to allow the scheduling of 50 flights a day," Singh said.
Sharing insights regarding the monetary part of the undertaking, Singh said that the spending plan assignment of Rs 10,000 crore was set for the principal stage, of which about Rs. 7,371 crore has been spent. "The development of the terminal structure is nearing completion. In July, two radars will be introduced, like this working with radar-helped flights. The following development period will probably start soon," Singh added.
